Emperor of Hemp tells the true story of Jack Herer’s fight for truth, justice ... and this amazing plant. The film is loaded with information, entertainment, and great music from Bonnie Raitt, Joe Walsh, Cheap Trick, Kris Kristofferson, and lots of others. Using never-before-seen archival and contemporary footage, and with the powerful narration of Peter Coyote, Emperor of Hemp brings to life the history of cannabis sativa, its deep connection to mankind, and what it still could mean to Planet Earth.
All films begin at 7:30pm, followed by discussion and are free.
