In her first book, musician, journalist and activist Marisa Handler paints an intriguing portrait of her own evolution as an activist with the burgeoning anti-globalization movement. Handler has written for Salon.com, the San Francisco Chronicle, AlterNet, and Tikkun, Orion, and Bitch magazines. She has worked as an activist with numerous organizations, including Direct Action to Stop the War, United for Peace and Justice, and the Tikkun Community. * * * * * * * Table Talk Reservations Table Talks at 6pm include a three course dinner, followed by speaker and discussion from 7:30-9pm. $36 per person, includes tax and gratuity.
