Join Komunyakaa, along with Willie Perdomo and Lamont B. Steptoe for an evening of some of the best of African and African-American poetry, plus a special performance by master drummer Agya Boake-Boaten.

The performance will be co-hosted by Alicia Askenase, author and director of the literary program at the Walt Whitman Center and Ram Devineni, founder and publisher of Rattapallex.
