Storytelling

Medical Marijuana is a Necessity

Monday, March 10, 7:30pm

Cheryl Miller’s 30 year battle with multiple sclerosis has left her unable to walk or take care of herself. Like Miller, tens of thousands of seriously ill US citizens have tried many medications before discovering medical marijuana works exponentially better to ease their symptoms. Everyday, they are forced to choose between breaking the law for relief or living with inferior but legal medications. With the help of Jim Miller, her husband and caregiver, we will hear Cheryl’s story and of her tireless efforts to change the law on medical marijuana. A short documentary on her plight will be shown. We will also be joined by Ken Wolski, R.N., M.P.A., an outspoken medical marijuana advocate from the healthcare community.
