Andrew James, a 17 year old high school student from North Phila was affected deeply by the violence in his community. Inspired to reclaim power over violence and promote healing in the community Andrew created this film. I Can End the Violence instigates and reflects community dialogue on questions of why there is so much violence in our communities and how we can work together to end it.
Andrew shows this film and speaks in schools and to community groups, facilitating the necessary dialogue for ending the violence that blights our society. He will join us for a discussion after the film.
Sunday Night Film Series Reservations
Reservations for optional dinner (5:30pm) or Free film showing (6:30pm) are highly recommended as seating is limited. (Preferential seating given to those dining; remaining seats available to those with reservation for film only.) Discussion will follow film.
