7th Annual
Freedom Seder

Sunday, March 25, 6pm

with Marwan Kreidie, Samir Salah, and Rabbi Brian Walt

Our seder is dedicated to peace and understanding between Israelis and Palestinians, Arab Americans and Jewish Americans. With songs and symbols from Arthur Waskow’s Seder of the Children of Abraham, Hagar and Sarah, we will use the story of the exodus from Egypt as an opportunity to discuss personal suffering on both sides of the Middle-East conflict and as a source of hope.

Kriedie is Executive Director of the Philadelphia Arab-American Community Development Corporation. Salah is a member of the Palestinian American Congress. Rabbi Walt is founding rabbi of Mishkan Shalom, a progressive synagogue in Chestnut Hill, and a member of Rabbis for Human Rights, which works in Israel and the West Bank. Rachel Gartner, a student at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, will provide musical accompaniment.

Bring a friend from a different cultural background.
