with Congressman Chakah Fattah

A life-long Philadelphia resident, Congressman Fattah is serving a fourth term in the US House of Representatives from the 2nd Congressional District, which includes the White Dog Cafe. With education initiatives at the forefront of his legislative agenda, Fattah successfully initiated the innovative GEAR UP program, which helps students from low-income schools be better prepared for college. His current legislative priorities are The Equal Protection School Finance Act and The American Cities Investment Act. He will share his thoughts on current Congressional activity, with particular insights into the economic-stimulus package and the Patriot Bill and their economic and civil-rights implications for Americans.

Table Talk Reservations

Table Talks at 6pm include a three course dinner, followed by speaker and discussion from 7:30-9pm. $30 per person, includes tax and gratuity. Cash bar. Senior citizens (over 65) and full-time students $25 with advance notification.

Student Stand By Policy: Students can call (215) 386-9224 between 4 - 5:30pm on event days for available seating at 6pm for dinner ($15) or to attend the discussion only at 7:30 (free).

Please call (215) 386-9224 for reservations before sending payment. Advance payment required by giving a credit card over the phone or sending a check. Single reservations are welcome at Table Talks where you'll be seated at a group table. Vegetarian dishes are always offered.
