Global Warming:
Turning up the Heat

Sunday, April 14, 6:30pm

Global Warming: Turning up the Heat questions why nothing has been done about this life threatening issue despite overwhelming consensus among international scientists that human consumption of resources is warming the planet in potentially catastrophic ways. The program examines how human activity has contributed to unusual heat waves, floods and droughts around the world, and looks at some of the ingenious solutions that are now being developed to alleviate these problems.

Following the film, we will have a discussion with representatives from the Clean Air Council and Community Energy, the lead organization generating wind power in PA - including 100% of the White Dog’s electricity, They will talk about newly available consumer options in clean energy.
