Table Talk The Global Justice Movement and Our Responsibility Monday, April 15, 6pm with Kevin Danaher Kevin Danaher is cofounder and Director of Public Education for Global Exchange, a human rights organization based in San Francisco dedicated to promoting environmental, political and social justice around the world. An acclaimed author and speaker on foreign policy and the global economy, Danaher offers a totally restructured economic model that is more democratic and that shifts the dominant values from maximizing profits to meeting all social needs and preserving the environment. His talk will include Global Exchange’s new initiative, The Green/Fair Economy Program, which focuses on building networks among the alternative economic institutions that serve as the building blocks of the new economy. * * * * * * * Table Talk Reservations Table Talks at 6pm include a three course dinner, followed by speaker and discussion from 7:30-9pm. $30 per person, includes tax and gratuity. Cash bar. Senior citizens (over 65) and full-time students $25 with advance notification.
