Sunday Night Film

"Ecological Design - Inventing the Future"

Sunday, April 15 at 6:00 pm

This film is an educational documentary film that illuminates the emergence of ecological design in the 20th century.  The film features the ideas and prototypes of pioneering designers who have trail-blazed the development of sustainable architecture, cities, energy systems, transport and industry. Beginning in the 1920s with the work of Buckminster Fuller, moving through the 1960s and the counter culture and ending on the doorstep on the 21st century: the film follows the evolution of ecological design from the visions of a few independent thinkers to the powerful movement it is becoming.

We are honored to have Chris Zelov, Co-Creator of this award winning film and Executive Editor of it’s companion book: Design Outlaws on the Ecological Frontier to lead us in dynamic discussion following the film.
