10th Annual Freedom Seder
Sunday, April 17, 6pm
with members of the Philadelphia Tikkun Community
Through spoken word, singing, symbolic foods, storytelling and other media, we will explore the universal themes of freedom and renewal. Join us for a White Dog rendition of traditional Passover meal, along with a creative evening of fun, enlightenment and spirituality inspired by the exodus biblical narrative. Among those leading the Seder are Rabbi Marcia Prager and Cantor Jack Kessler from Pnai-or Synagogue.
The Philadelphia TIKKUN community is part of a nation-wide network of TIKKUN communities dedicated to creating a world based on love and caring. As an interfaith social action movement, it seeks to unite political activism and spiritual practice.
$35 includes service, three course dinner, discussion, tax & gratuity. ($30 for Tikkun members, $25 for Senior citizens (over 65) and full time students - with advance notification.) Single reservations are welcome where you’ll be seated at a group table. Vegetarian dishes always offered. Call 215-386-9224 for reservations.
