Holocaust Memorial Day Reflections

Monday, April 19, 7:30pm

Jerry Silverman will show slides of Eastern Europe, describing his recent trip to such cities as Berlin, Krakow, and Budapest, as well as death camps including Auschwitz, Majdanek, & Dora. Jerry is a math & science teacher at the Phila. High School for Creative and Performing Arts, and the Educational Director of Temple Beth Zion Beth Israel. Come learn, reflect, & remember.

Storytellings

Storytelling night provides the opportunity to hear the life stories of a variety of peoples and gives voice to underrepresented groups such as ex-offenders, senior citizens, gays, youth, immigrants and homeless people. They also provide a forum to exchange perspectives at a personal level on experiences such as war, civil rights marches, parenting issues, and illness.

For reservations for à la carte dinner 6pm, and/or Storytelling at 7:30, call 215-386-9224. (Preferential seating given to those dining; remaining seats available to those with reservation for storytelling only.) Singles welcome at group tables.
