Join us for a dinner of true Jamaican Cuisine at our new West Philadelphia Sister Restaurant. Dine on favorites like Callaloo, Oxtail Stew, Curry Goat Roti and Jerk Whole Snapper prepared by Caribbean Cuisine owner Wade Murray, a former cook with Jamaican Jerk Hut. If the weather is nice, we will dine on the outside deck and listen to Island music. (Indoor seating is sold out. We are taking names for outdoor seating. If the weather is nice - we'll call you a few days before the event to join us. Call to get added to the list!)

Ron Millner’s Play, “Urban Transitions: Loose Blossoms”

“Urban Transitions” tells the story of a middle-class African American family and the poisoned allure of drugs. The father has suffered an accident. Gradually, his college bound son turns to the drug trade to help pay the bills & even enjoys an affluent lifestyle. The play poses the question, “What will you say no to?”

Driving Directions

From the Schuylkill (76):
- Take 76 to 346A - for South Street.
- At the top of the ramp, turn West, towards the overpass that says "Univ of Penn" (If you took 76E, it's a Right turn. If you took 76W, it's a Left turn.)
- South St. immediately becomes Spruce St. Follow Spruce St a few lights to your first major intersection - at 38th St. There is a Wawa on the corner.
- Turn left on to 38th St.
- At the next light, make a right on to Woodland. The road immediately forks. Stay right on Baltimore Ave.
- Follow Baltimore for approximately 20 blocks.
- Caribbean Cuisine is located at 6045 Baltimore Ave, look for where the trolley tracks turn. There is free parking on surrounding streets.
