Fairmount Park Restoration

Saturday, May 1, 10am - 2pm

The White Dog Cafe adopted a portion of Fairmount Park through the “Preserve Your Park” program. Join us for our third visit to learn about the social and ecological history of Fairmount Park while assisting with its restoration. Jason Mifflin, of the Natural Lands Restoration and Environmental Education Program of Fairmount Park, will lead us in discussion and action. Activities include planting native species, removing invasive plants, restoring trails, and general clean-up.

Space is limited. Please call (215) 386-9224 to reserve your place. Rain or Shine. Complimentary lunch will be provided for volunteers.
