| Michael Pollan, a longtime contributing writer at The New York Times Magazine and professor of journalism at Berkeley. In his latest critically-acclaimed book, The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals, Pollan takes readers on an eye-opening tour of each of the food chains that sustain usindustrialized food, organic food, and food we forage ourselvesfrom the source to the final meal, and in the process develops a definitive account of the American way of eating.
**UPDATE 1/29/07: Pending the release of his newest book, Penguin Group, Michael Pollan's publisher, has decided to postpone his book tour. Michael assures us he will reschedule his appearence at the White Dog as soon as his new book is published.
