Helmets & Locks required. Meet at Back Home Cafe, 1515 Fairmount Ave.
Meet for coffee & muffins before leaving on a guided tour of outstanding wall murals with guide Tony Heriza and muralist Kevin Gardner . We will make our way through the neighborhoods of Fairmount and Mantua, and end up at the White Dog for lunch and a talk with Jane Golden, Director of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. Jane will offer a brief history of the program, and discuss the importance of murals to both community pride and development.
WPVI’s Monica Melpass will join the bike tour as a celebrity guide.
