Gary K. Beauchamp, president and director of the Monell Chemical Sciences Center located in University City. Internationally recognized for its research in the biology and physiology of the chemical senses since 1968, the Center's findings on taste and smell impact a range of important topics such as nutrition, food preferences, environmental odors and irritants, pheromones, and chemosensory disorders. Beauchamp will offer an overview of this fascinating research and its relationship to our everyday lives - including our tasty White Dog dinner.

Optional 5pm Tour: Meet at the Monell Center (3500 Market St.) at 5pm for a tour of the Center with Dr. Beauchamp.

Table Talk Reservations

Table Talks at 6pm include a three course dinner, followed by speaker and discussion from 7:30-9pm. $30 per person, includes tax and gratuity. Cash bar. Senior citizens (over 65) and full-time students $25 with advance notification.

Student Stand By Policy: Students can call (215) 386-9224 between 4 - 5:30pm on event days for available seating at 6pm for dinner ($15) or to attend the discussion only at 7:30 (free).

Please call (215) 386-9224 for reservations before sending payment. Advance payment required by giving a credit card over the phone or sending a check. Single reservations are welcome at Table Talks where you'll be seated at a group table. Vegetarian dishes are always offered.
