Ross Gelbspan, a retired journalist of 31 years for The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, and The Philadelphia Bulletin. Author of the much acclaimed “The Heat is On: the Climate Crisis, the Cover-Up, the Prescription,” Gelbspan is currently an Edward R. Murrow Senior Policy Fellow at Tufts University. In 1998, he co-assembled a group of economists, energy company presidents and policy specialists to hammer out a set of strategies designed to dramatically accelerate the Kyoto process, creating large numbers of jobs, especially in developing countries. These ‘solution’ strategies continue to be widely presented and endorsed by international bodies and non-governmental organizations throughout the world. Table Talks at 6pm include a three course dinner, followed by speaker and discussion from 7:30-9pm. $35 per person, includes tax and gratuity. Cash bar. Senior citizens (over 65) and full-time students $25 with advance notification.

Student Stand By Policy: Students can call (215) 386-9224 between 4 - 5:30pm on event days for available seating at 6pm for dinner ($15) or to attend the discussion only at 7:30 (free).
