“Sex Workers and HIV”
with Carol Leigh and Elizabeth DiNenno with the Sex Worker’s Health and Safety Task Force.

Carol Leigh has been working as a prostitute, activist and artist in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past fifteen years. Leigh is active in a number of progressive political, women’s and GLBT rights groups including COYOTE (Call Off Your Old Tired Ethics), a prostitutes’ rights organization. She will talk about the criminalization of sex and its effect on HIV prevention efforts for sex workers. Elizabeth DiNenno helped organize the first Summit on Philadelphia Sex Workers and will be addressing issues and challenges they face in Philadelphia.
