Spirit: The Seventh Fire
Celebrating Life through Dance, Music and Theater

Thurs, June 23, 7pm
at Lemon Hill in Fairmount Park

Spirit: The Seventh Fire tells the story of everyman as seen through the eyes of a contemporary Native American. Caught up in the daily distractions of life, he is thrown from his cubicle to begin a journey that renews him with mystery, beauty and the spirit of his ancestors. This flowing narrative is told through live style-crossing music, epic film, and Native American Dance.

We will attend Spirit as a group. Then, following the performance, we will gather on-site for dessert, coffee and a powwow with the performers and creators of Spirit who represent many different tribes across the nation.

Complimenting the show is “The Lodge,” an educational resource that features displays and programming from cutting-edge local and national nonprofits whose work is closely aligned with Native traditions and wisdom. “The Lodge” will also be a thriving marketplace featuring Indigenous arts and crafts as well as Spirit’s merchandise. The Lodge will be open from noon until 11pm

$60 includes ticket to performance, dessert, coffee, discussion, tax & tip.
Advance reservations required by calling 215-386-9224.
