“Stopping the Epidemic”

with Dr. David Metzger, Director of AIDS Research, Center for Studies of Addictions, and Casey Cook, Executive Director, Prevention Point Philadelphia

People get infected with HIV through intravenous drug use. In the US, 35% of people with AIDS (30% in Philadelphia) identify I.V. drug use as a risk factor. Needle exchange programs work to prevent this. Learn more about how and why it is essential that needle exchange programs continue.

AIDS Breakfasts Reservations

Breakfast talks at 8am include full breakfast with coffee and orange juice, followed by speaker and discussion from 8:30-10am. $12 per person, includes tax & gratuity.
