Fairmount Park Restoration
Saturday, July 12, 9am - 1pm
Learn about the social and ecological history of Fairmount Park while assisting with its restoration. Jason Mifflin of the Natural Lands Restoration and Environmental Education Program in Fairmount Park will lead us in discussion and action. Activities include planting native species, removing invasive plants, restoring trails, and general cleanup. An excellent way to learn about the history and ecology of the park while improving its condition.
