Author of Mad Sheep: the True Story Behind the USDA’s War on a Family Farm, shepherdess, scientist, and a champion of sustainable farming, will share her 2001 experience. After months of harassment and surveillance-including USDA agents spying on the family farm from nearby mountaintops- armed federal agents seized what they had identified as an imminent danger to the American people: a flock of 140 organically raised dairy sheep.
Also sharing his story is Pennsylvania farmer Mark Nolt, whose dairy farm was recently raided by the USDA and PDA.
