Mudd Women: A Night of Poetry and Music Sunday, August 1, 8pm An encore performance of “Mudd Women” Poems of the Earth. These poetically gifted and spiritually enlightened women are at the root of word play, an oral tradition, known as spoken word. Oni Lasana shares with us the knowledge of growing in your womenhood, and Aysha Bradly gives us the hope to sustain it. What better way to take in that fire of female energy than through the power of music, by Illumines and Lady K with special guest the VOA “Voices of Africa” coral ensemble. $15/person.
