Storytelling

Be the Man: Men Behind Bars

Monday, September 10, 7:30pm

Paula Sepinuck, artistic director of TOVA, will screen her new video, Be the Man, based on the real life stories of 6 male inmates from the State Correctional Institution in Chester. Working in a Theater of Witness workshop in the prison, the men use spoken word and music to present their deeply personal stories of what led them to crime, abuse, parenting and forgiveness. This inspiring and moving video illuminates the spirit of healing and growth. Sepinuck will be joined by someone from the criminal justice system. TOVA creates artistic projects that speak for social change.
