This Film is one of a four-part PBS documentary series entitled Edens Lost & Found: How Ordinary Citizens are Restoring Our Great American Cities.  Focusing on  Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and  Seattle -- four cities that face a range of demographic, economic and environmental challenges -- this series shows how integrated resource planning combined with local community support have come together with bold strategies offering hope to our great American cities.  Join us for the Philadelphia segment highlighting practical solutions improving the environment and quality of life in our city, for ourselves and future generations.

Joan Reilly serves as Director with Philadelphia Green the urban greening division of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Joan has played a leading role in the development of a unique and vital partnership among the Philadelphia Department of Recreation, community groups and Philadelphia Green to revitalize neighborhood parks in the city and create system change in stewardship practices.  Joan was also instrumental in the process of making this film and will lead us in discussion after the screening.

Sunday Night Film Series Reservations

Reservations for optional dinner (6:00 pm) or Free film showing (7:00 pm) are highly recommended as seating is limited. (Preferential seating given to those dining; remaining seats available to those with reservation for film only.) Discussion will follow film.
