Butterfly Garden and Edible Landscape

Sunday, October 10, 10am - 2pm

Celebrate the completion of the revitalized Edible Landscape demonstration garden at the Horticultural Center. A culmination of work started in the spring by volunteers from the White Dog and Phila County Master Gardeners, led by Doris Stahl, coordinator of Horticulture programs for Penn State Cooperative Extension. On this service day we will plant crops for next Spring, put the finishing touches on the garden and enjoy lunch provided by the Cafe with garnishings from the garden.

Space is limited. Please call (215) 386-9224 to reserve your place. Rain or Shine. Complimentary lunch will be provided for volunteers.

Directions:
From White Dog Cafe:
Take 33rd Street towards the Zoo until it ends.
Make a quick left and then a right onto 34th Street.
Make a right onto Girard Avenue.
Once across the bridge, make a left onto 33rd Street.
Take 33rd Street to Diamond Drive and make a left.
Go straight through the stop sign at Diamond and Reservoir and pull over on the right hand side of the road. (Randolph Drive)

From 76 East:
Get off Girard Avenue exit.
Make a left onto Girard Avenue.
Once across the bridge, make a left onto 33rd Street.
Take 33rd Street to Diamond Drive and make a left.
Go straight through the stop sign at Diamond and Reservoir and pull over on the right hand side of the road. (Randolph Drive)
