Spoken Word Performance in the Piano Parlor “Love Tales” Sunday, Oct 12, 8 - 10pm This spoken word performance, “Love Tales”, will feature poetry put to music for an evening of “tongue twisting poetry and jazz guaranteed to give you an ear full by some of the city’s rawest talent of sultry sounds and poetic rapture.” The night will feature Misty Sol poet, singer, and author of “Sex Pot,” Hostess of “Kodjo’s”, and featured poet and songstress of “Smoke Poets” a compilation album of lyrical talent. Illuminess and Lady K poet and songstress who’s album “Audio Soul” is slated for release Oct/Nov along with a special guest. These artist have been seen at some of Philly’s hottest venues including “The Five Spot”,” Little Jamaica”, “Zion Train”, and “The Rotunda.” $10 cover fee (goes directly to the artists).
