Be a part of a citywide effort to provide 40,000 hours of hands-on community service throughout 125 Philadelphia public schools to get them in shape for the school year.
We will meet at the Mann Music Center for a light breakfast, a rally and orientation before heading to Wilson Elementary in West Philly at 10am to help with projects such as painting classrooms, restoring playgrounds, and creating green spaces on the school grounds.
We will return to the Mann at 2pm for lunch and entertainment. No experience necessary. Youth age 6 and up welcome with adult supervision. Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes to get dirty in and bring work gloves.
