His new book, Cracking the Code, provides tools to understand the ways people think, sort and understand the world, and breaks down the art and science of effective communication to help readers rebuild the progressive movement in America. Among his many books, The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight, inspired an invitation by the Dalai Lama to spend a week in Dharamsala in 1999, and he also won the Project Censored Award in 2004 for his book Unequal Protection.
