Monday, October 25, 6pm with Russell Peterson As a former Republican Governor of Delaware, a DuPont executive, a presidential appointee in two Republican administrations, and President of the National Audubon Society, Russell Peterson has spent his 50-year career battling for environmentally secure policies among conservatives who would rather he’d stuck to party lines. In 1996, he parted from them permanently and became a Democrat. His book Patriots, Stand Up! is a call to action for Americans who have grown tired of seeing the word “patriotism” abused by those who place their imperial and financial interest ahead of the real wants and needs of the American people.
