Urban Sprawl is a growing concern among Americans, who are frustrated with traffic congestion, angry about the loss of open space, and perplexed by the decline of Americas cities. Many think sprawl is inevitable, but it is not. Save Our Land, Save Our Towns, filmed in Pennsylvania, England, Oregon, and North Carolina, tells why Americas towns can be rebuilt and why strip malls dont have to replace farmlands.
Joining us for discussion following the film will be Joanne Denworth, president of 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania, an alliance of organizations and individuals committed to promoting land use policies and actions that will enable Pennsylvania to strengthen its diverse urban, suburban, and rural communities and reduce sprawl.
All films begin at 7:30pm, followed by discussion and are free.
Dinner, Bar and Grill and Dessert menus, as well as beverage service
will be available before, during, and after the films.
Please RSVP as seating is limited. (215) 386-9224
