What could be more unique and elegant than making homemade gelato for your guests? Using seasonal ingredients including quince, sweet potatoes, hickory nuts, black walnuts and buttermilk from regional family farms, this hands-on workshop will focus on gelato that can be made at home in an ice cream maker. The workshop will be led by Stephani Reitano, co-owner of Capogiro Gelato in Philadelphia, a family-run gelato producer fashioned in the tradition of Italian artisan know-how.
