Tim McGlone

Tim McGlone's journey into the music industry began at an early age. Growing up, McGlone was surrounded by a wide variety of musical influences ranging from Soul to Folk. As a self taught musician, Tim grew to combine such genres to create his unique and catchy style of songwriting. With an arsenal of Motown, folk, and rock inspired songs, McGlone has taken his music across the country, living in cities from Boston to LA.

While living in Boston, McGlone formed the folk-rock band The Limericks alongside singer-songwriter Jim Hanft. After a year of playing in the New England area, the duo took their music to Los Angeles, playing world famous venues, such as the Whiskey a Go Go, the Viper Room, and the Troubadour. "I got to sing on the same stage as Elton John, Otis Redding, and The Doors. It really was a humbling experience", says McGlone. At the end of 2007, McGlone returned to his home in Philadelphia. "Traveling across the country playing music has really made me appreciate where I came from. It really is a blessing to be back in Philadelphia, back in the place that inspired me for so many years."

Toward the end of 2007, McGlone joined The Hawk Will Never Die Records based out of St. Joseph's University. He partnered with band mate Jonah Delso, to record and engineer his debut album Street Sounds . McGlone meticulously produced his own work, perfecting the unique ten track album, with songs ranging from all genres including pop, country, and soul.

Today, Tim is currently touring the east coast with his band The Turn, promoting his debut album Street Sounds. Recently, Tim was featured on Philadelphia's Radio 104.5 Fridays at 5. In addition to his solo work, Tim also plays bass alongside Jonah Delso, with whom he opened for Coldplay for their Viva la Vida tour at the Wachovia Center, and is a member of the Birds on a Wire music coalition. Today he resides in Philadelphia, where he continues to passionately pursue his music career. Street Sounds is available on iTunes, CDbaby.com, and at any Tim McGlone show.

Brian & Brian
(members of Monacy)

ABOUT MONACY: Monacy hails from West Chester, PA, a bustling little college town on the outskirts of musical mecca, Philadelphia. The City of Brotherly Love has spawned a plethora of notable musicians including Patti LaBelle, Pink, G-Love, The Roots, Joan Jett, Will Smith, and Hall and Oats, just to name a few. It's the area's stylistic diversity that has so greatly influenced Monacy's musical soul. The band incorporates a tasteful blend of funk, rock, R& B, hip-hop, and soul, resulting in a unique and savory sound;one almost impossible to classify. This original recipe was created in 2002 by drummer Nick Ruffini, who recruited guitarist/lead singer Bri, bassist Drew Pritchard, keyboardist James McLaughlin, and lead guitarist Brian Nash to complete the lineup. Since then, Monacy has been spreading their love up and down the East Coast, performing in venues like the Trocadero and Theater of Living Arts, both in Philly all the way up to Nectar's in Burlington, VT. The band has shared the bill with all-stars such as Phish's Page McConnell, The Greyboy Allstars, Melvin Sparks, The Spam All-Stars, Dave Grippo (from The Trey Anastasio Band) and The Bloodhound Gang's "DJ Q-Ball". Monacy also played a command performance of sorts at the Viva La Bam end-of-season "wrap" party. In addition to supporting such high profile acts, Monacy is making a mark of their own as a premier band on the college and regional scenes. The band is primed and well on their way to break out nationally. With the help of multi-platinum engineer Rich Gavalis (Bloodhound Gang) the band has completed their sophomore EP appropriately entitled "Intensely Casual Volume 1", a collection of 5 songs that will make you want to get down, get funky, and get loose. Additionally, production is already underway for the Volume 2 follow-up EP scheduled for a December 2007 release. To add even more fuel to the fire, Monacy has teamed up with Los Lonely Boys' marketing and promotions manager, Gigi Greco to help spread Monacy's sound. Monacy's eclectic style and energetic performances are sure to please any musical taste. Just one listen will leave you wanting more.

Jonah Delso

South Jersey native, Jonah Delso discovered the incredible combination of melodic guitar riffs and soulful vocals at an early age. Growing up listening to urban, pop styles of music, Delso blends his current love of folk and rock with his childhood musical tastes to create his unique sound. After 7 years of producing his own work, Delso's music is booming with life.

At only age 21, he has accomplished numerous musical milestones. In the summer of 2008, Delso was handpicked by the members of Coldplay to open at the sold out Philadelphia stop on their Viva La Vida world tour. His song "Elevator" was selected as WXPN's Philly Local Song of the day, and his song "Radio", produced at MadDragon Studios in 2007, was released on the label's nationally distributed compilation disc, Unleashed3. His songs have also been featured in the independent films Calendar Girl, No Boundaries, and Exit 117. Since opening for Coldplay, Jonah has continues to tour the Philadelphia and New Jersey area, and promoting his five song EP Hi-5.

As an established bassist, Jonah also writes and performs with two Philadelphia based bands, the Goodnight Lights and Tim McGlone. Featured in Philadelphia Weekly's "Umm Drop", Jonah produced the Goodnight Light's self-titled debut release. Also playing bass for Philadelphia songwriter Tim McGlone, Jonah has produced, engineered, and mixed the debut album Street Sounds.

Steph Hayes

Steph Hayes is a singer and songwriter who spent several years in pop/rock group Stargazer Lily. She signed with Arista Records in 2000, has written with Billy Steinberg (Madonna, Roy Orbison), John Shanks (Ashlee Simpson, Melissa Etheridge) and Shelley Peiken (Meredith Brooks) and many other top industry songwriters. She has also recorded with Nelly Furtado, The John Lennon REMIX project, and Ben Arnold. This year, Steph Hayes shared stages with Bitch, Erin McKewon, Namoli Brennet, Wayne Fishell, Jenny Owen-Youngs, Michelle Malone, Nicole Reynolds and gregory Douglass. Following the 2006 release of the album "Dirty Beauty" she now performs solo or with her band The Good Problems. Hayes current writing is a return to her more lyrical roots. At times solemn and at times mischeivious, she now tours to support an exhilarating notebook addiction. "The goal of my career, and of my life is to be a better songwriter. Touring has taught me how to accomplish that goal. To keep moving, to come and go, to watch people, to visit places and submerge myself in them. And most importantly, to write it all down." "Am I moving Forward or Running Away" is an epic saga of live on the road, love on the road, roads to nowhere towns and runnin...and wondering why you're doing any of it! "Silverspur Motel" is the story of a late night detour to a scary prairie town..... "Out of Time" is Steph's attempt to write a Johnny Cash song..... "Ballerina" is about the one you want because you can't have.....
