Volunteering - White Dog sponsors and organizes customer and staff volunteer projects through out the year with organizations like Working Wardrobe, West Philadelphia Habitat for Humanity,
Donations - 10-20% of our profits are donated to our nonprofit, the White Dog Cafe Foundation, which works to build a more socially just and environmentally sustainable local economy in the Greater Philadelphia region, and other non-profits. We also give food, employee services and gift certificate for local fund raisers and events.

Fostering economic justice promoting our minority-owned Philadelphia Sister Restaurants, selling Black Cat products made by disadvantaged workers, purchasing from small privately owned companies and worker cooperatives (family farms, microbreweries, Mexican coffee cooperative ,etc)
Teaching tolerance and interconnectedness storytelling that gives voice to the underrepresented, inner-city Community Tours
